1. Data we collect
Merchant data: your name, email, phone, business details and login credentials. Store data: products, orders, and the customer details your buyers enter at checkout. Usage data: device, log and analytics data needed to run and secure the service.
2. Roles
For your store’s customer data, you are the data controller and QuickShop is your data processor — we process it on your behalf to run your store. For your merchant account, QuickShop is the controller.
3. Why we use data
To provide the storefront, process orders, send transactional messages (email, WhatsApp, push) you enable, prevent fraud, provide support, and improve the service. We do not sell personal data.
4. Sharing
We share data only with the processors needed to run the service — e.g. hosting, database, email, payment and delivery providers you use — under contract, and where required by law. Payment card details are handled by your PCI-compliant payment provider, not stored by us.
5. Security
We use encryption in transit, encrypt sensitive secrets (like payment and messaging tokens) at rest, isolate each store’s data, and restrict access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your data and notify you of any breach affecting you as required by law.
6. Retention
We keep data for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, tax and dispute purposes, then delete or anonymise it.
7. Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and object to certain processing. Store customers should contact the store they bought from first; we will assist that store. Email support@quickshop.store to exercise your rights.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies for login and security, and limited analytics. We default to the most privacy-preserving options and don’t use intrusive tracking.
